More than just a bed, our housing programs offer structure, accountability, and care—helping individuals take the next step toward long-term stability and restoration. Whether it's emergency shelter or transitional housing, we are here to meet people where they are and help them move forward.

Hunger doesn’t wait, and neither do we. Every day, we serve free, hot meals to anyone in need—no questions asked. Our community dining ministry offers physical nourishment and the comfort of a welcoming environment. Volunteers and staff share more than just food—they offer encouragement, prayer, and the love of Christ with every plate. For many, this simple act of kindness is the first step toward deeper healing and connection.
Men & Women Recovery
Addiction: Restoring Lives Through Faith-Based Recovery
Addiction leaves people feeling broken and hopeless—but there is a path to freedom. Our Christ-centered residential recovery programs for men and women provide a safe place to heal, grow, and rebuild. With daily structure, Biblical counseling, life-skills training, and community support, participants discover new life and lasting change. We believe in the power of God to restore what addiction has stolen—and we’ve seen it happen, time and time again.

Since our founding in 1985, Providence Ministries has played a pivotal role in transforming the lives of those struggling with spiritual, social, and economic challenges in Dalton and the surrounding areas. At Providence Ministries, we believe in the power of hope and support. Since our establishment, our mission has included a women's pregnancy facility which has served over 25,000 clients, multiple boys' homes, and currently a comprehensive addiction recovery programs for men and women located in Georgia and Tennessee. We're also proud to provide shelter and nourishment to homeless men, women, and children every single day of the year, demonstrating our commitment to uplift and empower every individual who walks through our doors.
